#5 (Week 2) Locate a few useful library related blogs and/or news feeds

Just searching for news feeds off bloglines was good enough. Out of the suggested search sites Topix was proberly the easiest to use.

Learn about RSS feeds and set up a Bloglines account

• RSS and newsreaders: I have not really used it but see how useful it could be to someone who surfs the interent on a regular basis checking their favourite sites.Also if your doing research and need to keep up with the most recent changes it would be realy useful.
• How I could use it? I could use the BLoglines to keep up to date with different trends and releases etc.
• Libraries: Libraries could use bloglines by keeping up to date with different articles. We could also promote this in the library as a good way to surf the net instead of spending time browsing through pages trying to find that same blog etc...

BlogLine account set up...It actually looks really useful and less time consumming than browsing all your favourite sites you can just check out your space on bloglines...will suggest this tool to others..
